JMU Memorial Scholarships
The “The Let’s Talk Jenna” 501(c)(3), Non-Profit
Organization is seeking high school seniors
that have made a positive impact
regarding issues of mental illness, depression, bullying and thoughts of suicide
in their own school and community.
Our hope is to honor students that, like the
“Let’s Talk Jenna” organization, aim to promote awareness, education and
positive change in response to the issues surrounding issues of mental illness,
depression, bullying and thoughts of suicide.
be currently enrolled as a full time student, either within his or her high
school or through an approved college correspondence program.
possess senior status as determined by Mayfield High School for the 2015-16
To be considered, the applicant must include the following
with their application:
personal information form.
- Copy of applicant’s most recent report card.
Application 1-2 Page Essay:
how your accomplishments relate to the mission of “Let’s Talk Jenna”.
ways you have proactively helped to lessen stigmas of mental illness,
depression, bullying and thoughts of suicide within your school community.
your professional goals after graduation from college.
why you feel you are a deserving recipient for this scholarship.
of the above materials must be RECEIVED no later than February 6, 2016.
- Recipients and their schools will be notified no later than April
will be formally awarded at Mayfield High School Graduation Ceremony.
JMU Memorial Scholarships 2015
Scholarships were award to five great students this year at Mayfield High School the scholarships were the awarded to the following students:

- Alex LoPiccolo
- Michael Bissel
- Kirsten Favazzo
